Michele M. Green

Michele is a plein air painter whose studio is the wide open marshes of Delmarva. She spends her days hiking in the back country catching the simple majesty of the light in oils. Michele's creative process is a reflection of both her emotions and her training.

“Artist are blessed with a gift, and burdened with a desire to relay the mind’s images. Too often we fail to see the value in simple vistas.  "I like to paint what people forget to look at.”

Michele's career took a turn when she began writing a series of  mysteries based on her life in the marsh released by Blue Berry lane Books.   She has been a frequent contributor to the Outdoor Delaware magazine and her work has been featured in the Delaware Today magazine. Michele’s work is also in the collection of Vice President Biden and Delaware’s Governor Markel.

Michele resides on an island in the lower eastern shore of Maryland with her handsome husband and two dogs.
